Bob SaltaPrincipal, Owner
Robert Salta, son of DirectMail.com co-founder Joseph Salta, worked his way up the company's management ladder, learning each facet of the business from the bottom up. He helped transition the company from an agency to a full-service solution provider and assisted efforts to bring list management, printing, a data service bureau and a mail shop to the business mix. He also was a driving force behind the 2006 decision to move to an Internet-based service delivery model and launch the DirectMail.com name. This move helped grow the company from 30 employees to over 250, and increase revenue by nearly 400%. Not content to rest on these laurels, Bob is assisting DirectMail.com's efforts to become a recognized leader in data-driven solutions for mid-market and enterprise-class firms.
Bob oversees sales, agency activities, the mail division and data assets. He created the National Do Not Mail List, a free service designed to stop unwanted advertising mail. He also was a driving force behind efforts to employ individuals with special needs within the firm, leading to employer of the year awards and meritorious service awards from The Arc of Maryland and The Arc of Southern Maryland.
